She was given to my relative who does not know anything about a Jack Russel, so she was leashed 24hrs a day.

I could not stand it and asked them to release to me so that I can find a good home for her ( a home that would provide her lots of exercise and stimulation that a JRT needs)

Looking for a home that would allow her plenty of space to move around.

She is extremely well behaved. Loves to be around humans.

However, I don't think she is trained yet becoz she does not know basic SIT command. But JRTs are extremely bright

You are right in doing what you did. JRT (or any other dogs) should not be tied of caged up all day long. Personally I don't believe in either method being a good way to manage a dog. I hope you can find someone who understand the nature of JRT to adopt it.

She is adorable. JRTs are smart and easily trained _ provided they get lots of mental and physical exercise. I adopted my JRT when she was a year old and tied up most of the time. She is 6 now and a great dog. Loves hunting down frogs, squirrels and birds! Please spay your Roxy before releasing her to a new home.

Thanks for your comments.....I would want to spay her but i have no info on her medical history......do not want to open her up to find out she is spayed already....so in a dilema here...:(
