Cavalier King Charles Spaniels aren't supposed to come in that colour (sable--the one with black fur). Cavaliers only come in 4 colours--Blenheim (red & white), Tricolour, Black & Tan, and Ruby. They are mixed with something else.

No, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels only come in 4 colours (here, for reference: the AKC (American Kennel Club) breed standard: http://www.akc.org/breeds/cavalier_king_charles_spaniel/). I am very well versed in the Cavalier world--I have many friends who have Cavaliers, I own a Cavalier, and are friends with reputable Cavalier breeders who show their dogs and own many champions.

You are the one who isn't doing your research properly. Cavaliers should NEVER have any dark red/black colour fur. That is a disqualification in the show ring and these dogs should not be bred from.

Please breed responsibly. There are already too many stray dogs in this country. Real reputable breeders NEVER breed for profit. They breed because they want to produce better dogs that fit the breed standard and can be shown and titled.

Nicson, when you say "Please come and see the real", do you mean that these photographs are not of your puppies?

What Lucidity wrote about the allowed colour combinations is correct. Your pups might be pure CKC Spaniels (do the parents have certs?), but if they are in unrecognised colours, they will be disqualified from showing. They are still perfectly lovely pets, of course. :-)

If your dogs don't have original, certified certs (MKA if Malaysian), then you have no way of proving that they are 100% pure bred.

Please, PLEASE do your research before buying a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are a breed that is afflicted with many genetic diseases, so you should ALWAYS buy from a reputable breeders (who show, title their dogs, and also test for major diseases like mitral valve disease and syringomyelia. Please read this website (www.cavalierhealth.org) to read up about these diseases. MVD is the main killer of Cavaliers. More than half of ALL Cavaliers will have a heart murmur by age 5 and almost 100% of Cavaliers will have heart problems by age 10. The best breeders are trying to save the breed from becoming sicker.

Syringomyelia is a very painful genetic disease which can only be diagnosed by MRI. It affects the brain and spinal cord of Cavaliers (their brains are too big for the skull, so part of it gets smashed into their spinal cords). Some estimates show that 50% of Cavaliers suffer from SM. So, PLEASE PLEASE do your research before you buy a Cavalier. Research lines and pedigrees to make sure that your puppy’s parents have been tested for these diseases. By buying a puppy from a broker or a puppy mill, all you’re doing is slowly killing the beautiful breed.

Cavaliers are such loving dogs. They do not deserve to fall sick, suffer, and die at a young age.
