Female dogs have been far more independent, seemingly more able to cope with what life chucks at them than the males, equally as loving, more able to cope with pain (more stoic) than the males. Some less outgoing than the males. They are easier to house train than males bec they don't lift their legs on the furniture or iron gate that cause corrosion and are less aggressive generally

In the United States, most dogs are spayed between 5 and 8 months of age. Many animal shelters and veterinarians are starting to spay female animals at a younger age, even at 2 months. This early spaying does not affect the growth rate, and there are no appreciable differences in skeletal, physical, or behavioral development between those animals spayed early than those spayed at a more traditional age. It must be remembered that younger animals may need different anesthetics and are more prone to hypothermia (lower than normal body temperature) during surgery. As long as procedures are modified to account for these differences, early neutering is very safe. In fact, animals spayed at a younger age often have faster recoveries than those spayed when they are older.

Received calls on puppy adoption..but puppy will be given to serious adopter only bec we do not wish any of them being mistreat or kick out to street when they loss their cuteness months later..life is life..dog or cat life are as important as human life..they're not a play toy for human..pls think carefully before adoption..

This stray mama dog has had many litters hasn't she? Since she's obedient and obviously friendly with humans based on the pics, you would be doing her a great favour by arranging spaying. As she gets older she becomes more at risk for potentially fatal diseases like pyometra which commonly affects middled-aged unspayed dogs: http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+2109&aid=918 Good luck rehoming the pups!

MelissaK..we wanted to spay both of them..but both mother(Max & Cody's mum) & daughter(Yuyu, Micah, Rain & Rion's mum) are always together and the daughter is the protector of her mum & she's super fierce and won't let anybody get close to her, she will be starring at ppl that touching her mum..just few steps away... chances for her to leave her mum alone is very slim..The fosterer used to let them hide in her house when MPSJ came last year but the daugther are showing fang all the way even in ppl house(she has to enter the hs as the mother was there)..everytime we're like stealing their litters due to this issue..My sis wanted to bring Max & his 2 sisters to Pg during Oct 2007 but she chased after my sis, both mum & daugher are barking and pushing my sis front gate until 2 pups returned to them..we also bought sleeping pills from vet (13 - 18 pills) and mixed with their food in order to catch her but she can still run and hide after that..vet says this is due to her strong immune system..

My goodness, the daughter is one feisty dog! Kudos to you for all the effort you made in trying to catch and spay her. Hope you succeed eventually. All those puppies are lucky that there are wonderful people like you who care for them and find them forever homes :)
