Ellie was a sweet stray cat who gave birth on the streets but she was lucky that someone was looking out for her. That kind-hearted person was able to get her kittens adopted out, and got Ellie defleaed, dewormed, fully vaccinated, spayed, and tested positive for FIV, and negative for FeLV.
Despite Ellie's FIV carrier status, she has no clinical symptoms, so as long as she's kept 100% indoors with good food and annual vet check-up, she can live the full life expectancy just like any cat. FIV only spreads to other cats by mating or fighting (blood exchange) so as long as all cats in the home are sterilized and integrated properly so no one is fighting, there is no danger of transmission.
She's currently at a foster home now, and she is looooving the indoor life. Ellie loves to wrap herself around her foster mama's leg, meowing and bunting, and asking for pets and treats. She's a very gentle girl, and is super calm even when getting vaccinated at the vet. She looks at you with her big green eyes, just asking to be loved! Ellie also plays well with feather toys.
Ellie would be a great starter cat for a first-time cat parent/cat family, or she'd also do wonderfully as a companion for an existing cat. She has a strong history of getting along with other cats as well, though would still require proper integration process.

We do have a short application process. We also insist that all cats adopted from us be indoor cats and spayed/neutered when old enough.
