Simba is a survivor. At only 3 months old, he has been through a lot. Found him near the laundromat of our apartment among other stray cats. He was the youngest and smallest yet looked more scarred than the others. We took him in and he has had multiple visits to the vet. He has also had a full check-up (blood count, urine, stool, FELV/FIV, FIP and Parvo test). All results indicated that he is healthy except that he was diagnosed with mange and was even hospitalised for a few days as he was having trouble breathing due to pneumonia. This was most probably from being a young stray that lived in a harsh environment all by himself and from the fact that he has never been vaccinated yet. Fortunately, happy to say this little fighter is recovering tremendously well and he will be finishing his medication course by end of Jan. By then he would be fully cured and would be able to be vaccinated. He is like a totally different kitty now. From being such a fragile little thing that would have not survived if we had just left him to now so lively, cuddly, and playful. This green-eyed cutie also got such a long tail that the end twirls btw!
As we already have two kitties, we are not able to keep him so we are looking for a seriously committed, caring and loving pet parent who will provide a lifetime of love, security, clean and healthy environment as well as a forever home for this lil fella. Must make sure that he will be vaccinated annually and neutered as well. Feel free to contact us if this is you!
