Hey Tania.. I like the Meerkat documentary too, watched it many times on APL. Those fellas just look so cute standing straight up with their heads peaking around! =)

Oh, and how does it feel playing midwife?

It happened by accident, really! She was actually a stray that I often fed. I was cuddling her when suddenly the head of the first kitten squeezed out! To a 10-year old this is pretty traumatizing ha ha. So the first kitten was delivered right onto my lap. I helped the next three by tearing their sacs when they were halfway out, to make it easier for the pushing and for the kittens to start breathing. Pretty awesome, actually, especially knowing that the mother trusts me enough to let me handle her newborn babies.

Wow.. must be a really unforgettable impression delivering the kitten, brave girl! Did you get to keep the kitties after that?

Oh, and Noodle is so cute and white that she appears glowing against the carpet hehe! Glad that she found a nice loving home now =)
