CRIME AGAINST CUTENESS

Thanks to a member of public, we were alerted to a slow loris whose canines were filed down– a practice to makes lorises “suitable” (not dangerous to humans) for the wildlife pet trade. Wildlife pet trade in Singapore is an illegal and yet this slow loris was found walking in the middle of the road beside a green space.

Online videos of adorable-looking wild animals being petted or handled for the wrong reasons contribute to the demand for the wild animals as pets.

Please say No to keeping wild animals as pets.
