NATIVE WILDLIFE RESCUE ROUND UP: 19 FEBRUARY 2016

1. Mustafa is an adult (and feisty) rock pigeon who somehow got stuck inside a fire exit window at the Mustafa shopping centre. We do not know how Mustafa ended up there, but a kind member of public spotted him and called us for help, as the bird was there the whole day. Thanks to the very helpful sales people who let us climb in and retrieve Mustafa safely and release!

2. Rochor is a reticulated python who was found at a construction site along Rochor canal road. The site personnel have encountered pythons there before during the canal widening projects and they have been always helpful in keeping an eye on the snake, and helping us to secure the place so the python can be rescued safely!

Do remember to call the ACRES 24-hour Wildlife Rescue Hotline at 9783 7782 if you spot any wild animal in Singapore who may need some help.

Have a pleasant weekend!
