SOS SOS SOS SOS. THIS dog which was wandering near a market in Taman Gembira, Klang for a few years was caught by the dog catcher. A worker in tge market managed to pay the compound. He now needs urgent help to to get the dog neutered and vaccinated before rehoming. The dog has been admitted at Thomas Animal Clinic (Matthews Veterinary Services Sdn Bhd). Please help if you can by paying clinic directly. Fund raising is only for today and closes at midnight. Money will go towards boarding, neutering and two vaccinations. Vaccinations and neutering, we believe will come up to around RM400. He has to be quarantined for at least two weeks because he was in a pound. Thanking you in anticipation. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
