It took a whole village lot of flowers to raise this child!

For nectar feeding birds like this olive-backed sunbird, who was handraised as a chick, we had to transition from syringe feeds to feeding from flowers. Over the past two weeks, this chick has shown great improvement and is now in outdoor rehabilitation enclosure. Fingers crossed, we hope she will be fit to return to the wild soon!
