Called The Owner This Morning And Was Told That He..

Called the owner this morning and was told that he hand over the dog to MPSP personally as he could no longer take care of him since he will be moving to a flat.

I questioned him then why didn’t he try to find an adopter for him instead of handing over the dog to the pound, where he has to suffer being cramped up in a cage with others dogs, and getting injured in possible dog fights?

He said he trust no one to take care of his dog.

Seriously…? You trust none of your friends but you put trust in a dog catcher to care for your dog? This is just ridiculous!

Please help to share out this photo and hopefully he gets a chance to be adopted soon. He must be feeling so lost now without his family.

Owner went to the pound just now to see for himself the condition of his dog…yes, the dog that he had betrayed and sent to the pound just because he trust no one but the local council to care for his dog. Now, his dog had injured his leg due to possible dog fight and is seen limping.

Somehow or rather, the dog must sense the owner’s untoward intention as when the owner tried to touch him, he refuse to be touched and growled. Miraculously, when our volunteer tried to pat him right after that in front of the owner, the dog gave in willingly without a struggle.

Dogs are smart and they can sense human’s sincerity towards them. With that, the owner left. Since the dog had a slight limp, he will be sent to SPCA SEBERANG PERAI to temporary recuperate there.
