This is Sawadeeka. Our member found him with a painful oozing ear wound at a food court. Sawadeeka is the sweetest and gentlest boy. He trustingly allowed himself to be picked up and carried in a car to the vet, snuggling gratefully throughout. He seems deaf.

The vet said he seems to have suffered a hematoma to the ear that has largely healed with the worst being overcome naturally. His ear may always flop on one side, even after the infection clears fully, giving him this adorable half Scottish fold and half Siamese look.

He has undergone neuter surgery and cleaning of his ear. He has been de-fleas and de-wormed. He is under antibiotics treatment to fully heal his ear which is progressing well.

Unfortunately this sweet boy tested positive for FIV (negative for FeLV). He is in good health apart from his ear. Many cats with FIV can live healthy lives, especially if they are indoor cats with a nutritious diet.
