Dear All,. As You All Know Mddb Is At A Crossroads..

Dear all,

As you all know MDDB is at a crossroads of sorts. We are facing a financial crisis and have to find ways to ensure our survival. We have no compelling stories to tell – our dogs are doing well and MDDB members are not suffering either. We are all employed and lead reasonably okay lives. However, in order for MDDB to continuing taking good care of our dogs and staying afloat we need your help. So please help us until we are able to at least self-sustain ourselves partially. Currently we have embarked on a plan to earn some income and for this we also need your support. We have the use of a nice bungalow in SS3 and are finding ways to use this place to eke out some income. Please give us some thoughts on what we can do. Meanwhile, it’s that horrifying time of the month again where we have to pay for rental, utilities and staff allowances. Our June chicken and Aug chicken bills are still there and we have to also raise about RM5,700 to buy rice. Please help if you are able to. Thanking you in anticipation.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
