Just out of curiosity due to some major argument that’s going on. Please share your opinion. Scenario:

Some idiot ties a dog to a tree with a long rope in an area near a public hospital. A doctor, who has just finished her night duty, spots the dog. She buys it food and water and informs us to seek help. We put it up with her number. The dog meanwhile has gone around the tree and could stranggle itself. She is unable to untie dog as it is hostile. She waits and a passer-by comes to her aid. After trying for a while, he manages to cut the dog free. The doctor and the man leave the place. There are some admonishing the doctor saying that she should have not released the dog as it may not be able to fend for itself. They say they dog must be rescued – but no one had responded to our call for rescue. What should the doctor have done?

1) Cut the rope like what was done?

2) Cut the rope and take the risk by bringing the dog with her?

3) Leave the dog there with food and water and leave the place and alert about the dog needing to be rescued on social media.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
