Embarking on the journey of “Uwu,” inspired by the enchanting call of the Asian Koel, we extend the first shout out for ACRES Gala: Wild Second Chances. 🦉✨

Wild Second Chances is a heartfelt mission, offering rescued wildlife a second lease on life. 🌿

Meet Luna 🦉, the rescued nestling Sunda scops owl, found during the day. 𝗥𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Uninjured Luna returned to ACRES for rest, food, and water. That night, our team brought her back and waited. An hour later, Luna’s screeches guided us to the parent on a nearby branch.

Swiftly, we crafted a makeshift nest. Witnessing the magic of parental instinct, the adult owl approached Luna, and in a moment of pure magic, they were reunited. ✨🌳 🌿
