Our Palliative Care Marley Had Been Very Quiet And..

Our palliative care Marley had been very quiet and subdued recently. The cancer could have spread through her lungs and up to her throat as we could feel the lumps around her neck. We took her to the vet where she was given very strong pain killers for the next 10 days. She perked almost immediately after that – confirming that she was indeed in pain. We just hope the strong painkiller meds will not destroy her kidneys and liver by the time she goes. Currently, Marley will be pampered and given the best of care but when the moment the suffering starts – we will do the necessary to help her slip away gently into the night.
