We are shocked and saddened by the water surge tragedy that took the lives of 10 family members in Air Putih last week.

Following a torrential rain on Saturday, our Terrapin Guardians went to the river to check out our boat that was tethered to the riverbank the night before.

They then received news about the tragedy, but at that time, nobody knew how many victims there were. They immediately went on a search and rescue operation with the authorities, and unfortunately found the first of many bodies nearby one of our terrapin nesting banks 😭

They have been involved in the search operations ever since, which was extended for another 3 days starting today. Let’s pray that the last victim will be found soon 🙏🏻
