MEMERANG DI KOTA (OTTERS IN THE CITY)!

ACRES is honoured to be part of Memmerang di kotta (otters in the city). A bilingual book that celebrates compassion for animals as it follows the lives of four young #otters in urban #Singapore, it hopes to raise awareness about these iconic animals and how children can help should they see wild animals in distress.

ACRES is honoured to contribute by giving inputs on otter rescues and our Co-CEO Ka Lai to be featured in the book/animation as well. We are thankful for being part of the book launch through a roadshow booth to showcase the work done by the otter working group for otters @OtterCity in Singapore, alongside #OurWildNeighboursSG campaign’s outreach. ACRES

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
