This is why we provide driftwoods in our tanks/ponds. For the terrapins to bask! 👍🏻

Terrapins are cold-blooded, so they can’t control their body temperature internally. They bask to absorb warmth and vital UV rays. They also often stretch out their legs to absorb additional heat.
