WORLD SEA TURTLE DAY!

Like our daily wildlife rescues, sometimes our shores see sea turtles who have gone through untold journeys.

Not all animals may have happy endings, like the #greenturtle and other hawksbill turtles we rescued in the past one year who came in with very debilitating injuries and poor body conditions.

On this day however, we want to share the joy with you on one of our recent rescue and release of #hawksbill turtle hatchlings. A big thanks goes to the kind caller who waited for us. These sightings serve as a strong reminder of how important it is to preserve what we have and learn about #etiquette when you sight these precious animals.
