HELP SHAPE OUR WILDLIFE PROTECTION LAW

We’ve done lots of public consultations 👍 AND I still want to HEAR FROM YOU 😊

We’ve introduced the Wild Animals and Birds (Amendment) Bill in Parliament a few weeks ago 🎉 See the photos for a summary of the new offences and penalties.

This is a Bill drafted by the people with feedback and suggestions from the people. I’m happy to have introduced this Bill on behalf of the people and animals.

I will explain the proposed amendments during the second reading of the Bill next week. Do you have any further suggestions or need any clarifications about the Bill? Let me know what you love or hate about it ❤️💔 Leave your comments on this post.

This is a vital Bill which will strenghten the protection, preservation and management of wildlife for the purposes of maintaining a healthy ecosystem and safeguarding of public safety and health 👍
