We are in dire need of help to meet expenses this month. Goldie (whom Gasing named Kerm) has been treated and discharged and her bill came up to RM4,351. We had paid a deposit of RM1,500 when admitting her. Her bill has been settled with the donations that came for Project Gasing. Koun, meanwhile, who was run over by a vehicle multiple times, is still at Gasing and his bill has come up to RM9,508. We had also paid RM1,500 for his admission. A good Samaritan had paid RM4,000 for his bill and we now have to pay Gasing RM5,508. Anfiled, who was rescued with multiple fractures and admitted to Yeoh, is also doing well and we have settled RM8,000 of his RM12,932. So we are in need to pay Yeoh RM4,932. In addition to that, we are also short of funds to pay for our utilities and rentals. We have no choice but to once again seek your generosity. Both Yeoh Veterinary Clinic and Gasing Veterinary Hospital have strictly told us no more direct transfers for these cases as it has ‘messed-up their accounts’. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
