Wildlife Pests?. A Farm Had Set Up Traps For Anima..
A farm had set up traps for animals because their plantation had been damaged by iguanas. Although green iguanas are non-native, the population in Singapore is contributed by the illegal wildlife trade and collective abandonment, and the results can be dire.
Unfortunately, two iguanas were trapped and held in rusted and filthy cages. Similarly, seven yellow-vented bulbuls were trapped too, of which all animals were subsequently seized by the National Parks Board (NParks).
If you witness active trapping in progress, please call our 24-hour wildlife crime and rescue hotline at 97837782, or email photos to acrescrime@gmail.com. If we are unable to arrive immediately due to crime or rescue operations, please call the enforcement authorities NParks. Let’s do our part to end animal cruelty.
