DOGS COULD HAVE THIS BUILDING….

Our rescue partners internationally are preparing for the upcoming winter and the Bosnian Dream Shelter has asked our help to move this old container/ trailer to their property for their dogs.

“Regular prices are from 1500 euros and up,” shelter founder Arijana Arijovic said. “With the price of only 400 euros, this will be great for dogs during the winter!” (plus 190 euros to transport the container)

Arijana’s shelter is lovely because the dogs can roam freely in a large open area on a quiet, mountainside. They don’t have the stress of being held in kennels and cages, and weather is really their only adversary. Although it needs a lot of cleaning, this container could be a lovely sleeping quarters for the dogs on bitter cold nights. Most shelters in this part of the world provide only dog houses filled with straw to insulate them. That is all that they can afford as they don’t have the heated buildings that many of us are accustomed to. The dogs do grow a very thick coat and acclimate gradually with the changing weather, but we’d like to grab any opportunity we can to get them more shelter.
