We are so looking forward to learn the outcome of the public consultation on the ban of elephant ivory sale and display in #Singapore!



[ The ivory belongs to the elephants, not us ]

I’ve spoken up in Parliament several times now about banning the sale of ivory in Singapore. I’m glad we are making progress on this issue and a public consultation was conducted.

Hoping for an update. As such, I’ve filed the following Parliamentary Question for next month’s sitting:

“To ask the Minister for National Development whether he can provide an update on the results of the public consultation on the ban of elephant ivory sale and display in Singapore.”
