TINY HELP FOR DOG WITH BUCKSHOT IN LEGS

This thin hunting dog turned up recently in the town of Busovaca. A kind local woman saw started feeding him in the streets, but he is very thin, covered in ticks and had two buckshot pellets in his hind legs and one broken bone in a hind leg.

“This is one of those old stories,” rescuer Esnaf Mehic of Croatia explains. “Hunters use dogs only as long they are good for something.”

Esnaf already has a debt at the veterinarian and can’t possibly afford this treatment on top of all the dogs she is already feeding and sheltering. She asked us for a bit of help today and we are trying to raise 250 euros ($282 American dollars) to pay for xrays, removal of the bullets, tick medicine, etc. This dog is at the veterinarian right now.

If anyone can help today, we would be so grateful as we already have our hands full with an emergency unfolding in Romania.
