INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION

At ACRES, we believe that awareness and compassion towards other species starts from a young age. We conduct assembly talks at schools across the island to raise awareness animal protection issues such as the illegal wildlife trade, endangered animals and how young individuals like them can play a critical role in animal protection.

Our talks provide traction for thoughtful and in-depth conversations on animal protection, between peers as well as the adults in their lives. We believe that nurturing a generation of leaders who understands the importance of compassion towards animals will inspire changes for the better in the future.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
