Morsels For Morocco. This Week We Got A Distress C..

This week we got a distress call from Georges Laurent, a Belgium native who is immersed in a fledgling project to provide care for street cats in Morocco. The 40 year veteran of animal rescue is asking for help with a shortage of kibble.
Volunteers in Morocco are giving food and precious water to cats in five locations and slowly working on spay/neuter as funds allow.
“We need kibble for all these poor street cats,” George explains with frustration over the financial restrictions that prevent a greater rate of sterilization for the cats. “Over a one year period, we were able to do more or less 130 sterilizations (spay/neuter). This is far from sufficient but we are dependent on few donors and it’s very very hard.”
The cost to spay each female is about $40 and just over $17 for each male. George shared photos of some of the 100+ cats who receive food daily and asked us for a small contribution for kibble so that the cats won’t go hungry.
