WHY YOU BOUGHT WOOD FOR THE DOGS….

Here in Bosnia, our supporters have donated to buy ample firewood to heat this sanctuary run by true-blue rescuer Danka Kantar. It took a long time to cut and stack the wood, but now we can be sure the animals and rescuers won’t be trapped in the cold this winter. Anyone who has ever really been cold for days on end knows how brutal, how utterly awful it is to have no way to warm your body when the air is cold and snow is all around you. This firewood is the greatest gift we could provide….besides food of course!

Each month, our supporters provide food for the animals here and for thousands and thousands all over the planet. If only you could meet even just a handful of the animals in person, you could feel just how profoundly powerful those donations really are.
