Every month Harmony Fund fills a whole lot of bowls with kibble at the Hresa pound in Bosnia. It was once a place of diabolical neglect where dogs would starve and freeze and suffer seizures without veterinary care. But the constant devotion of volunteers and donations from all of you, have changed things for dogs like Stella.

Stella just melts when she gets attention. She sinks into the touch of human hands on her fur. She seems so surprised by the sensation of affection, by receiving love. She has no idea that we are having a hard time raising funds to feed all the dogs here, and we intend to keep the dogs blissfully unaware of any threats to their well being. We are here to protect them. It’s that simple.

We need to raise $645 to feed the dogs here. We would be so grateful for donations to help. As many of you know, Harmony Fund is an esteemed, USA-based charity dedicated to helping ‘underdog’ animal rescue squads all over the planet. We feed dogs, cats, farm animals and wild animals in sanctuaries each and every month. Summer is a lean time for donations.
