GOOD NEWS FOR SINGAPORE’S NATIVE WILDLIFE: LAW AMENDMENTS

Louis Ng will be proposing amendments to the Wild Animals and Birds Act and will be tabling a Private Member�s Bill in Parliament.

This is the principal piece of legislation that deals with the protection of wildlife outside Singapore�s nature reserves.

Please help speak up for these animals: Should we end feeding of wildlife island-wide? Should we ban sale of bird traps and glue traps? And many more that will help protect these animals.

There will be public consulations for everyone to provide feedback, and the draft Bill will be also subject to public consultation before it is tabled in Parliament.
