ACRES WILDLIFE RESCUE TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEERS IS OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!

We are seeking passionate individuals who want to play a hands-on role in saving lives, ending suffering, and protecting wild animals by becoming a Volunteer Wildlife Rescue Officer!

Here are the details for our upcoming Wildlife Rescue Training Programme:

Date: 19th August 2016 (Saturday)

Venue: ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC), 91 Jalan Lekar, S(698917)

Time: 10am 5pm

Fee: SGD $30.00

Wildlife Rescue volunteers assist with round-the-clock rescues of injured/displaced wild animals all over Singapore.

During this intensive (theory only) training programme, you will learn how to:

Identify commonly rescued species of wild animals;

Assess various rescue scenarios for follow up action;

Handle native wild animals through a demo; (no live animals used)

Understand common behaviours of native species to provide sound advice to/educate the members of public concerning wild animals; and

Identify and assist with rescues of exotic (non-native) species.
