OUR ANIMALS GETS COLOURFUL ENRICHMENT TO LIGHT UP THEIR ENCLOSURE!
On 23rd June, 12 teachers from Pioneer Junior College (PJC) conducted their VIA project at our rescue centre. The teachers have brought in various type of flowers and plants to provide enrichment for the rescued reptiles.
Hibiscus, morning glory and yellow bell flowers were tied onto a natural string from the banana plants grown in our premises and made into “flower satay”. The “flowers satay” were distributed around the tortoises enclosure. Meanwhile, the 2 African spurred tortoises received a cactus planted into their enclosure. On top of that, all our pig-nosed turtles each received a lotus flower to munch too!
These photos are proof to how much the animals appreciated the enrichment – A big thank you to the teachers from PJC!
