AN UNEXPECTED EXPERIENCE IN THEIR LEARNING JOURNEY

Grade 1 students from UWC South East Asia Dover came over to ACRES to learnt about the rescued animals at our sanctuary as part of their learning journey.

On that day, the first graders had a surprise opportunity to observe the paradise tree snake being released back to the wild. Here in this photo, Mr Kalai, our Deputy Chief Executive who was in the middle of a release of this snake, took time to let the super curious children witness the release, patiently answering the questions from them.

It is indeed a rare opportunity to watch ACRES officers releasing rescued wildlife back to where it belongs and indeed an unexpected experience for the first graders.

We hope that through this school excursion, our international students get to appreciate the wildlife we have here in Singapore.
