ACRES receives over 150 calls for bird rescue monthly. Often, callers have to keep the bird safe while waiting for our rescue team to arrive.

This is where the fun bird rescue box comes in. Just follow the simple steps below!

While this was a fun sharing project to get the students to also learn about our wildlife, as a general guideline – keeping the bird in a dark box with some ventilation holes, in a quiet non-airconditioned room until help arrives will aid an injured bird recover from the shock and get some rest!
