MEET OUR INTERN OF THE MONTH, CHERYL LEE!

Cheryl is a first year student from the University of Glasgow. She undertook two weeks of Extra-Mural Studies with ACRES as part of the requirement set by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) in the United Kingdom. During her time with us, Cheryl gained valuable knowledge about treatment procedures for reptiles, among other things.

Cheryl was an asset to the team and was able to carry out the daily animal husbandry duties independently. Cheryl is very observant, and is able to learn new skills very fast. She is also very responsible and always takes initiative on the job.

We wish Cheryl all the best in her studies, and we look forward to having her volunteer with us again!

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
