ROMANIAN RESCUER LIVES AT SHELTER

A lifelong resident of Bucharest, Romania, Stefan Marian lives at this animal shelter with the souls he cares for. No electricity. No true indoor plumbing. None of the comforts of home exist for this man whose devotion to the animals is as plain as the summer sun.

Some days Stefan barely eats, instead giving his share to the animals around him.

Harmony Fund sponsors food and veterinary care here year-round. It’s one of the countless animal rescue centers who depend on us to make it through each month. But during summer, there are very few donations coming in and we do have a difficult time. Yesterday we drew from our small savings to make sure that each of our rescue squads received funds to care for their animals throughout June. Without our monthly donors, none of this would be possible. Together, all of you reading this, are quite literally sustaining the lives of several thousand dogs and cats as well as many other animals.

We extend our DEEPEST THANKS to all of you who are giving so generously to these animals. We wish you could meet each of them in person.
