INTERVIEW WITH ERIC TRIJBELS – ACRES SUPPORTER SINCE 2009, AND OUR CURRENT WILDLIFE RESCUE VOLUNTEER!

1. How did you get involved with ACRES?

- I got involved with ACRES when I moved to Singapore back in 2009. I wanted to volunteer with an organisation that helps animals, and so I googled and found ACRES.

2. What experience have you gained so far?

- I have gained much experience in handling wild animals, as well as educating people about the importance of preserving native wild animals and minimizing animal cruelty through our daily lifestyle choices.

3. What message or advice would you give to your peers who share the same passion as you to make a difference for animals?

- Don’t be scared about the animals or the time involved in helping them.

4. How do you think ACRES could improve?

- ACRES should continue to work with the government and urge them to pay for the rescues. Most importantly, ACRES should continue their efforts to repatriate animals and try to make this happen as soon as possible.
