CHIMP WEEK

Here you see Ilor comfort Bazou. After living in a wooden box for 16 years, Bazou doesn’t understand normal chimpanzee language and will often holler out with distress calls when he is experiencing joy. He simply never learned the language of his species as he lived in isolation. The beauty here is that the other chimpanzees here at the Limbe Wildlife Centre will hug and comfort Bazou when he is hollering. Bazou loves to climb and sunbathe and to follow his new family around. At last he has a family to protect and to be protected by. To see more of the beauty of Chimp Week and to help with donations to rescue others like Bazou, visit us here
