Good morning KY!

Since you’ve been busy taking care and worrying about Indy, I’m thinking maybe you’ll like to blog my story about trying out World’s Best Cat Litter.

I’ve read about World’s Best Cat Litter (WBCL) for many years but never managed to get a pack until yesterday afternoon. It claims to be totally safe for pets, people and the environment. It’s flushable and septic-tank safe (reduce our garbage landfill!) and made of corn. And because it’s made of maize, it claims to be safe enough to eat! I took a picture of the pack I bought. It is retailing for RM33.

My main initial obstacle is that the litter smell like corn and so to my cats who grew up eating wheat bran added to their meat, thought that it smell like food and so the first thing they did when they saw the litter was to nibble on it! But only for a while. They did not do it after that. Not so tasty :p The picture shows Look testing the taste of WBCL.

So I have to mix it with the old litter to get them used to it. I’ll be experimenting with this litter for the next few days. I’m excited about the possibility of flushing the used litter down the toilet bowl – no more heavy, big, smelly stuff to throw and add to the already over-capacity landfills.
