Updates On 13th Mar 2012

Back to Lao PDR to continue our efforts in ending bear farming there. It�s been 29 months since I first visited Lao PDR and met my first bear in a bear farm. This 13th trip to Lao PDR is dedicated to this bear who held my hand and wanted nothing but compassion and affection despite all the cruelty we humans have inflicted on her. She died the next day after we held hands. ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.
