Today is a very exciting day for animals all over the world, with the launch of Cruelty-Free International, a new global non-profit organisation with a vision to end cosmetics testing on animals worldwide. Cruelty-Free International has been established by the BUAV, one of the world�s longest standing and most respected animal protection organisations. ACRES is delighted to be partnering with Cruelty-Free International to launch the Cruelty Free International Asia office in Singapore. Cruelty Free International Asia will lead the global effort here in Singapore and Southeast Asia, working with regional governments, regulators and companies to push for a ban on animal testing for cosmetics.

ACRES

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
