To celebrate this joyous occasion, we will be organizing a fun-filled charity drive to help raise funds and awareness for 7 of Malaysia's leading animal welfare NGOs.

This event serves the following 5 main purposes:

1. Raise Funds for Animal Welfare NGOs Animal welfare NGOs are facing a continuous battle of caring for hundreds of animals, and are in immediate need of funds and donations to sustain their operations. We are honored to receive the participation of the following NGOs: PAWS, SPCA Selangor, Save A Stray, Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better, HOPE, Paws Mission and AnimalCare. Besides NGOs' own merchandise, we will be making available unique and exclusive PetFinder.my art & crafts that would certainly melt your hearts. All donations and sales proceeds will be centralized and redistributed to the charities, to provide a more balanced assistance for the animals. 2. Public Education & Awareness We would like to take this opportunity to increase awareness of the public on caring for their pets. Throughout both days, we would be lining up a string of exciting and eye-opening presentations and demonstrations from leading vets, trainers and animal welfare evangelists. We can certainly pick up some useful tips from these experienced pet gurus, and take this chance to raise any questions or clarify ambiguities we may have.
3. Launch of Petster Magazine's 100-Day Adoption Drive Yes, one of Malaysia's longest pet adoption drives is back! After magnificent results from 2010's 100-Day campaign jointly organized by Petster Magazine and PetFinder.my, it is now time to bring in a new season of adoptions. Petster Magazine will be using this event to launch their adoption drive, which would immediately begin the week thereafter. 4. Registration for Save A Stray's Sunway Spaying Campaign Save A Stray is organizing a highly-subsidized package for encouraging pet sterilization. Owners need only pay RM 280 for an attractive package of physical examination, spaying of female dog, 2 vaccinations, deworming, deticking, and blood parasite treatment worth RM500. If the pet owner resides at Sunway PJS 7, 9 or 11 with an electricity bill of RM100 or less, he will qualify for further subsidy by the Sunway Municipality. Registration will take place during the PetFinder.my event, so don't miss out on the opportunity!
5. Celebration of PetFinder.my's 3rd Birthday Of course, we must not forget to have a little fun as well! We have packed the event with attractive prizes to be won, every single hour! From pet trivias to group games to performances, we will bring you lots of entertainment and laughter. Oh, and a little cake-cutting ceremony for our little 3-year-old child too!
